1 1/4 oz gin
1oz lemon juice
1oz Blackberry Simple Syrup (see below)
Directions: Shake gin and lemon juice in a shaker with ice for 30 seconds. Strain into ice-filled glass. Pour in Blackberry Simple Syrup and stir.
BLACKBERRY SIMPLE SYRUP
1 cup sugar cane syrup (Liberty County makes the best!)
1 cup blackberries
Warm syrup in a sauce pan on the stove. Lightly muddle blackberries. Pour syrup over fruit. Let sit at room temp for a few hours then strain out fruit. Bottle and keep in refrigerator up to one week.
